More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Snowcover is minimal to nonexistent on SE-S-SW-W aspects in this area. Continuous snow cover 3 to 6 feet deep exists in most areas on NW-N-NE-E aspects. All photos taken from the ridgetop ~1/4 mile north of the Meiss Parking area on Carson Pass.
