Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

No evidence of new snow accumulation in this area from Feb 22. Snowcover is nonexistent below ~7,500' and thin below ~8,000'. Above ~8,000' the snowcover on NW-N-NE aspects quickly becomes continuous at 3 to 4 feet deep and very supportable. Melt-freeze surface crust is widespread on all NW-N-NE aspects in this area up to the summit at around 9,000'. Photo shows the 8 to 10 cm very hard and supportable crust that exists in the majority of areas. Isolated pockets of near surface facets exist above ~8,400' in this area (video), but are not a current concern.
