More detailed information about the snowpack:

On shaded aspects, the upper snowpack has been faceting which has been improving travel conditions.  It is still a mixed bag of snow conditions with lots of breakable crusts, some supportable crusts and a few spots of unconsolidated snow.  Solar aspects have a more consolidated snowpack with some corn snow, mixed crusts and punchy snow.  Solar aspects in this area have a thin snowpack.

A generally stable snowpack on all aspects in this area.  The north wind kept a cool feeling in the air, there were no signs of wet snow instabilities into the mid afternoon.
