We dug a quick pit on a southfacing 28 degree slope. I dont have the profile drawn up but here is the data- CT1 Q2 @ 15cm (windslab) CT16 Q2 @ 100cm, Jan 8 rain crust well bonded at 165cm. HS 290cm F hardness down 120cm, 4F  120-165cm down , K @ Jan 8 crust.

Warmer snow and high winds overnight caused upside down snow pack conditions. We saw several small avalanches in micro features as well as a larger slide across third creek from the knoll we were skinning up. We were not able to visualize the crown, nor did we desire to even get close. We stuck to low angle slopes below treeline.
