More detailed information about the avalanche: 

Wind slab avalanche observed right off the top of Jakes.  Thought to have occurred sometime late Wednesday.  Debris was not visible and fully covered by new snow but crown was visible although still covered in by new snow and blowing snow.  Length was unknown but evidence of snow up against trees was downslope approximately 200'.
