More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Thin sun crust on all but N aspects to approx 9400', approx 2cm new snow, signs of old roller balls now refrozen, mix of breakable and supportable crust and pockets of soft snow on descent. 

Pit dug at top of main NE facing bowl on 30 deg NNE facing 35 deg pitch at approx 9200'.  150cm HS approx 40 cm recent snow with obvious density change at appox 15cm and rain crust below.  Obvious striated facets at base of snow.  HCTN9@15cm on density change in new snow
