More detailed information about the snowpack:

Snow level in this area was above 8400 all day. The upper portion of the snowpack was wet and sticky. Despite strong SW winds no snow transport or new wind slab formation was observed due to the wet and heavy surface snow. Snowpit data indicated that the water is slowly percolating into the snowpack and that the snowpack is consolidating. No loose wet instabilities were observed.
