More detailed information about the snowpack:

Pics 1 and 2: Trimmer Bonus, where conditions remained cold into the early afternoon. An average of only 8" on the Bonus, but just dense enough to ski much deeper. No signs of instabilitites observed. Though two storm changes were easy to identify, they did not produce clean results on shovel tilts or mitt pits, and kicking steep rolls did not produce any cracking. The wet snow underneath remained wet and unconsolidated, but was not reactive to column tests.

Pic 3: 2' of new snow above rain crust just below Trimmer plateau, adjacent to Trimmer Elevens start zones. 2x ECTs 50m apart, and several informal tests, did not indicate propagation was likely at any height within the new snow, or into the wet snow underneath.
