More detailed information about the snowpack:

Light snow early morning turned to partly sunny skies throughout the day.  Calm to light SW winds were only felt on the top ridgeline.  Intense full sun breaks through the day with rapid warming conditions, although limited loose wet activity was observed throughout this area.  Existing wind slabs and wind pillows did not show to be reactive on NE-E aspects near the summit ridgeline.  SE aspects had existing sun effect from yesterday and E aspects had wet surface snow by around midday.  Snow below 7000' on shaded aspects was getting heavier.  Some old loose dry sluffs seen on distant mountains with no other signs of instability.
