Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

A good overnight refreeze of the snow surface in this area.  Firm snow conditions throughout the morning with E aspects softening by 10:30am and providing good spring snow conditions.  S aspects did not soften until after 11am but also had a couple inches of good soft snow on top of a firm melt freeze crust underneath.  The general snow surface conditions on south aspects was rough in this area from previous wind and avalanche debris.  No signs of any current loose wet instabilities.  Much colder morning than compared to yesterday and did not observe any areas of unsupportable snow.
