Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

A partial refreeze in this area with open N-NE-E aspects mostly firm before 10am.  Snow surface conditions in treed areas were punchy, wet and sticky with no signs of any refreeze overnight.  Snowpack tests on a shaded NW/N aspect showed little results with a well bonded and consolidated snowpack.  By 1pm, south aspects had lost ski supportability below 7500' in open and treed terrain.  Roller balls, poor ski conditions, and warm temperatures existed for the afternoon.
