More detailed information about the snowpack:

Heavy wet snow existed on E-S-W aspects today at all elevations. New snow depth ranged 6-10 cm on west facing sloaps at 6500' over old suportable melt freeze crust. Temperatures increased to well above freezing this afternoon and we witnessed a skier triggered loose wet avalanche on an east facing aspect as two skiers descended at around 12:30.  (Barely visible in photo 1).

Photo 2: Wet unsuportable snow surface

Photon 3: Broken clouds existed over the area for most of the afternoon, with scattered snow showers turning to rain at 3:45 pm, at 6500'
