More detailed information about the snowpack:

Soft cold snow still existed on the N aspects above 7500 ft. Wet sticky snow existed on the sun-exposed E-SE-S-SW-W aspects at all elevations up to 9600 ft. and on NE and NW aspects below 8000 ft. Skier triggered roller balls and pinwheels started occurring prior to 10 am on sun-exposed slopes and grew in size during the day. Pinwheels up to 3 ft. in diameter occurred by 1 pm on E aspects. Ski cuts and snowpit data from wind-loaded NW-N-NE facing test slopes showed no lingering signs of instability.

On the drive back several larger loose wet point releases could be seen on the south side of Incline Lake Peak and Rose Knob Peak.
