More detailed information about the snowpack:

10-12 inches of new snow at the trailhead with a dense layer on the surface and slightly lighter snow beneath. Could not determine if it was a temperature difference or wind packed snow on the surface. Low visibility - visibility was close to 100 feet at times this morning with dense clouds. Snow depth decreased with elevation due to dramatic wind scouring. No new snow remained in the exposed sections of the Hourglass or Proletariat.  NE and E winds had scoured it away and deposited elsewhere. The scouring exposed an old frozen snow surface that was edge-able. Moderate cornices that broke easily and tumbled downhill existed on the Proletariat. More consistent new snow existed in lower elevation terrain but it was punchy and variable with dense snow on the top and lighter snow below. ECTN's on the density change at various locations throughout the tour. Basically, a nice walk outside with no good skiing found.

We noticed some roller balls and loose wet point releases on sun-exposed slopes near Incline Lake Peak on the drive home.
