Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Today in a 133 cm pit profile on a North facing slope of 33 degrees at 9600 ft, I had test results of CTN and ECTX. Boot penetration was 45 cm. There were 60 cm of new snow with the top 5 cm fist hard and the rest fist +. All the new snow was isothermal at -2.5c with a slight change at the old/new snow interface and then again isothermal to the bottom. At the new old snow interface the gradient looked something like this: 90/-2.5 80/-3 70/-2 60/-2.5. Weak fist hard facets still exist on this aspect below a small crust that makes up the new/old snow interface.  Also notable, there were many snowmobile tracks and ski tracks on steep slopes on N-NE-E-SE aspects throughout the entire snowmobile area with no signs of avalanche activity. I also did not observe any shooting cracks or collapsing. In addition, there were no signs of rain during this event at this elevation.
