Ready? Set? Search & Rescue!

During the second session of the Tahoe Mountain Sports Avalanche Education Series -Master the Mountain - you will learn basic and advanced techniques of avalanche rescue.

Experienced mountain guide Tom Carter and Tahoe Mountain School director Steve Reynaud will discuss the history and technologies of avalanche transceivers and you will be able to go outside for some real life beacon practice with multiple burial scenarios!

Come at 6 pm to get a beer, nachos and best seating. Formal presentation starts at 6:30 pm. Huge raffle benefitting Sierra Avalanche Center.
