More detailed information about the snowpack: 

East facing cornices on Andesite Peak. Pit dug on the north side (just above the ridge, on the peak) revealed a roughly 9" wind slab on top of an obvious frozen layer below, breaking away in big chunks. Obvious and easy fractures made by skinning when we reached the north side of the peak.
