Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Light snowfall throughout the day starting around 9am.  Winds were light and swirlling but mostly from the south with light snow transport.  Dug many handpits, ski cut/ski kicked many steep test slopes with no results-no cracking or shooting cracks.  Dug a pit below treeline near Lake Mary in a high windloaded area, 7000', NE aspect.  The snowpack was rightside up, with fist hard snow at the surface going to 4f hardness down to 1f hardness down to the old snow/storm snow interface-approximately 5-6' of storm snow at this location.  Had some easy to moderate CT's in the newer storm snow but no ECT propation results.  2-4'' of new snow throughout the day when we left and continuing to snow.  No evidence of wind slab development from what I could see today.

Photo#1: Large cornice chunks that have fallen down slope probably yesterday on Wildflower Ridge.

Photo#2: View south from Judah with the storm.
