More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Very similar day to yesterday on Becker Peak. LTCC AIARE L2 class dug several pits on E and N slopes along ridge to Scout Peak. Consistent CTE Q2 and CTM Q2 tests within new snow layers, but NO propogation propensity shown by ECT tests. All ECT tests were were ECTN. Pit locations were in open terrain below treeline.

 

I ski cut several steep convex rolls, including undercut ones, with a few small sluffs, but no slabs.

Winds reamained calm to light throughout most of the day, accompanied by S1 precip. At 3pm, an increase in winds to light to moderate was observed, and precip increased to S2 until our departure at 4:30pm. Temps remained just below 0c throughout the day.
