Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Around 8'' of cold, light, unconsolidated, snow at upper elevations with 4'' at lower elevations from Sundays storm event.  The firm old snow surface crust was very apparent and felt at lower elevations and in all steeper terrain.  Some light surface sluffing in steeper terrain was common.  Winds were light from the east and no blowing snow was observed at this location or up canyon towards the Sierra Crest.
