More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Snowpit tests in this area showed significant improvement in stability over the snowpit dug in this area on Dec 6. Signs of problematic hard slab over facets has decreased with some snowpack consolidation and rounding of old near surface facets below old wind slab. A strong over weak generalized structure still exists, but snowpit tests did not indicate problematic stability.

Established melt-freeze/corn conditions exist in the area on southerly aspects.
