Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

While hiking to tamarack peak we decided to dig a quick ECT pit on a slope with wind blown snow. our locaiton was a NE aspect, 32 degrees and 120 cm deep at 9032 elevation with some small trees. We recorder a ECTN14 and the failure layer as was  expected 20 cm below the surface. Afterwards we skied the hourglass which was really good for the present snowpack.

Wish everyone a happy  and safe Holiday season!
