Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Only an inch or two of snow below 8000 feet and barely enough snow for ski travel below 8500 feet in this area. Variable snow conditions of soft near surface facets interspersed with hard icy crusts. Near the ridgeline and away from trees breakable crust and a few small areas of windslab were observed on top of the near surface facets. Pleasant skiing conditions when able to connect patches of near surface facets but this was challenging to do.

Noticeably warmer stepping out of the truck at 8000 feet than it was leaving Meyers (6500 feet). Inversion was definitely happening.
