Shallow snowpack observed in this area. Sun exposed areas are melting. Shaded northerly aspects are holding snow that is beginning to facet.

Photo 1: Shallow snow cover at the snowpit location. Noted lat/long of this observation.

Photo 2: Cornice 1-2 feet tall along Wildflower Ridge, far north ridge of Mt, Judah. No associated wind slab was observed. Similar conditions were observed along the summit ridge of Mt. Judah.
