Powderhouse

Short tour on the north side of Powderhouse during an AIARE 2 course to relate the snowpack to past weather. We arrived around 11:45 pm to some very light rain which switched to snow by noon. We found the week layer below the Feb 14th layer at about 20cm down. We had several CT results on that layer all were CTM with fracture characteristics ranging from Sudden Planar, Progressive Compressions and a Break. An ECT resulted in ECTN5 on the same layer. We skied down on warm thick snow as the precipitation started to increase.
