Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions:

Avalanche conditions were all around moderate. The forecast was calling for wet loose and wind slabs. Temps were around 40 F, mostly blue skys, no precipitation, high winds to the south. Snow conditions on north facing slope around tree line had a dense 3in surface that you had to cut through to go to a lighter layer underneath.
