Wet, Loose Slide in Job's Canyon

Found a few natural wet loose avalanches in Job's Canyon during our tour of the Jaws Couloir. In the morning when touring up, this snow was very firm and icy in some spots, forcing us to put crampons on. By the afternoon, this same gulley had become very slushy and the ambient air temperature was in the mid 60's F. The avalanche pictured appeared to be about a week old, as there were tracks over the slide path and the edges of the slide had consolidated well with the surrounding snow. There were multiple other slides that appeared very similarly to the one pictured that originated on the slopes to the south and north of Job's Canyon, roughly 4 or 5 total that entered this gulley and could potentially bury or injure a skier. Our egress was cautious due to the possibility of another wet loose slide given the snow conditions and the warmth. Of note, we did not observe any wet loose avalanche activity above treeline, and the conditions today were pretty good through the Jaws Couloir.
