More detailed information about the snowpack: 

-Loud whumphing heard in numerous areas lacking significant anchors

-Skier triggerd D1 avalanche in rock chute on skiers right in Hour Glass bowl, about 400 feet down from summit.  40cm crown that ran down to the rain crust from 12/8.
