Avalanche Observations
More detailed information about the avalanche:

Not an avalanche. Loud whumping with visible cracks and visible settlment. Skier crossing approx 1ft downslope of ridge in visibly loaded area. Location was approx 1/2 mile South of Silver pk.

Lots of loud whumphing noises on our tour. No visible natural releases. No result from ski cuts at lower elevations.

We observed a solo snowboarder descend East from Silver Pk and trigger a small release on a north slope. We could not tell if his track touched the crown, or if it was remote.
