Know Before You Go ~ Tom's Snowmobile

Are you interested in winter recreation or are you out playing in the backcountry? Do you need to learn about snow safety?  Come out to Tom's Snowmobiles in Sierra City for Know Before You Go avalanche awareness from Sierra Avalanche Center and get started into the world of winter recreation with the information to get you headed in the right direction.

You’ve heard “Get the Gear, Get the Training, Get the forecast, Get the Picture, Get out of Harm’s Way” but what do these really mean? The Sierra Avalanche Center will be presenting a look at the Know Before You Go program and digging into an introduction to backcountry knowledge and avalanche awareness for snowmobiles.  Join us for an evening of avalanche awareness with SAC educator Duncan Lee.

Presentation is free and open to the public.

Presentation will go from 6pm to 8pm.
