Know Before You Go ~ Sierra Nevada College

You've heard, "Get the Gear, Get the Training, Get the forecast." But what does this really mean? Sierra Avalanche Center in partnership with Mt. Rose Ski Patrol will be presenting the Know Before You Go avalanche awareness program and digging into an introduction to backcountry knowledge and avalanche education.
Whether this is your first time or you want to brush up on your knowledge before the season starts, come on out and enjoy an evening of educational information at Sierra Nevada College with Andrew Hennigh from Mt. Rose Ski Patrol. Presentation is free to attend and starts at 6pm in the Science Building at Sierra Nevada College in the Science building 139/141.  Gear Raffle to support SNC Freeride club.
