Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack:

Significant melting has occurred in the Mt. Judah area since Dec.7th. The E-SE-S-SW-W aspects barely had any snow left on them. The northerly aspects still held snow but the only consistent snowcover existed on sheltered slopes above 7600 ft. General observations and snowpit data still showed a snowpack structure consisting of stronger layers above weaker sugary layers of snow. However, no human triggered collapses or unstable snowpit test results were observed today. This day represents 1 of 4 observations out of the last 20 that have not shown some obvious sign of instability.
