More detailed information about the snowpack:

In the morning, new 24hr snow was less than 20cm and was bonding well to previous snow. No lingering weaknesses observed in previous snow. Winds were highly irregular in both direction and speed, depositing 1cm per hour even on slopes typically sheltered from wind.

At mid-day along Trimmer Plateau, shooting cracks were limited to 1m distance on only the steepest wind loaded rolls. 2xECTN at given lat long on a 35degree wind loaded slope, with easy progressive compression within newly wind deposited snow. Winds had increased to strong + and were more consistently from the SW.

Light, .5cm/hr precip began at 10am, and increased to 1cm/hr by our departure at 1pm.
