Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Decent coverage in the area once above the road (about 7000'). HS between 50-75cm. Many obstacles still present. Snowpack was supportable with ankle deep penetration into wetted snow surface. S1 and Moderate winds changed to strong winds and steady rain. Skiing became slow as the snow got wet.

Facets at the bottow of the pack were able to be smashed into a snowball pretty easily. 2x hand pits.
