Know Before You Go ~ REI Sacramento

Are you interested in winter recreation? Do you need to learn about snow safety?  Come out to REI for Know Before You Go avalanche awareness and get started into the world of winter recreation.

You’ve heard “Get the Gear, Get the Training, Get the forecast, Get the Picture, Get out of Harm’s Way” but what do these really mean? The Sierra Avalanche Center will be presenting a look at the Know Before You Go program and digging into an introduction to backcountry knowledge and avalanche awareness.  Join us for an evening of avalanche awareness with SAC's Executive Director Don Triplat
