Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Approximately 2-4cm of fresh snow yesterday was followed by cold nighttime temps producing surface hoar. Surface hoar was noted on all aspects while skinning up but was more pronounced in open areas where long wave radiational cooling had a greater effect. With the expected warmer temps and high pressure this week, it is probable that this will be broken down prior to next weekends storm. Hoping that others will be able to post observations as the week progresses.

The only other pertinent observations made without the use of a snow study kit or digging a pit was that the skiing was great, presumably due to the surface hoar, but also seeming like N-NE facing aspects had near surface faceting properties occuring.
