Snowpit Observations
More detailed information about the snowpack: 

Minimal snow coverage throughout this area with southerly aspects mostly dirt.  Northerly aspects in the 9000' range had 6-10'' of snow.  Most areas did not have continuous snow coverage for any over the snow recreation. 

Photo1: Numerous rocks still visible in the start zones of the far east ridge of Tamarack. Some small gullies did have continuous snow coverage with weak snow near the base. 

Photo 2: 20 to 30 cm of snow on a N aspect at 9700 ft. Some facets existed at the bottom.
