Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions:

Warm weather today continued the general heating with temps at 8000 feet in the high 40's. Snow was moving predictably and slides were easily triggered on either steeper terrain than 30 degrees or at convex trigger points on slopes between 25 and 30 degrees. Slides would entrain snow in ravines and deposits in terrain traps were several feet deep. Rain currently falling at 10 pm Monday night will bring the possibility of larger slides tomorrow if the temps stay up.
