Avalanche NE aspect NW ridge Donner Peak half way to snowshed wall

In my vehicle on the way home from Sugarbowl driving down DPR I noticed the crown below the cornice and slowed to observe. It appeared to have been triggerd by a collapse as an obvious gap in the cornice existed. No idea if it was natural or human triggered. As my eyes came to focus in the relatively flat light I could make out the crown had an apex and branched left and right pretty wide. The entrained snow ran over the snowshed all the way to the lower angle terrain at the bottom near old Lincoln Highway. Hard to tell the crown height and distance traveled but the elevation must be around 800 ft. This was the day before the rain event on Wed. 2-13-19. My camera couldn't capture a useable image in the low contrast light.
