Test slope Jackson Meadows

Non consequential test slope avalanche on a wind loaded feature triggered by a snowmobile in a NE aspect at 8000 ft .5 km west of the grill on a 38-43 degree slope in a 12’ wide area with a safe runout and eyes on around 2:30 pm.  Observed fractures and shooting cracks.  Two slabs were noted.  One at a density change in the new storm snowpack and another at the depth of the new-old snow interface.  

Hi winds and heavy snow noted and new snow to a depth of 64 cm was measured at elevation 7600 ft at 3:30 pm. Observation made by Sierra avalanche center motorized level 1 avi class.
