Incline Lake Peak Observations

The recent NE winds have scoured many above and near treeline areas.  Some of these areas are scoured down to firm crusts and some have wind board surfaces.  There are pockets of good unconsolidated snow in protected treed terrain, but it's getting harder to find in this area.  Lower angle northerly aspects below 8600' were slow, wet, and sticky by 12 noon.  Southerly aspects are still transitional with 3-4'' of wet snow on top of a supportable crust.   Very minimal signs of wet snow instabilities were observed during the mid day.
