Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions:

We toured up Deep Creek to look for the current persistent weak layer problem and enjoy some low angle skiing. A snowpit at 8150 on a NW aspect did reveal our current problem layer. Our test results were varied, and we were surprised by an ECTX after a CT21,Q1 result in the faceting grains below the 1/4/20 crust.
