Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions:

Snowmobilied in very deep "go anywhere" snow. Stormy and snowing all day. Temps in the mid 20's F. We stayed primarily in the trees and on slopes that were not greater than 30 degrees. Large cornices observed off in the distance in Polaris Bowl but we remained a safe distance away.

Dug pit down to depth of 158cm looking for weak faceted layer. Bottom of snowdepth was 320cm.
