Warming on SE aspect above Kingsbury Grade

Skied the southeast facing gully through the trees above the obvious hairpin on the Kingsbury Grade. Covered elevations ranging from 6600-8200. Saw significant warming,wet snow, and pinwheels/rollerballs in many solar locations. These had entrained a decent amount of snow in several spots. In solar areas that had gone into the shade, a thin, punchy crust was developing. In shady areas, cold, winter snow remained. Overall skiing conditions were pretty good, although many solar aspects will have a decent sun crust tomorrow. Temps at the car at 7300' were still above freezing at 2:30 pm and sunshine was abundant. Many of the roadcuts along the grade had loose wet activity, with obvious debris piles in several locations.
