Waist to chest deep at Kingsbury

Very difficult riding conditions at Kingsbury today, due to significant new snow and big wind drifts even in the trees. We had to get off our sleds several times, and sunk at least to our waists and sometimes to our chests. I was able to find some steep test slopes (steeper than 30 degrees) that were rideable if I came in from above, and they didn't show any signs of storm instabilites, even when undercut first. Because progress was difficult, we never made it to more wind exposed areas to observe wind slabs, though wind transport was observed well into the trees.
