Wind loading on Elephant's Back

We toured the Elephant's Hump area and had a clear look at the northeast face of Elephant's Back. The ridge line has a long, almost continuous cornice. The face has signs of recent and strong wind activity. In general, the Elephant's Hump area had many signs of recent strong wind activity from different directions with sastrugi and exposed rocks. We did not ski the northeast slope in the photo but saw a group skiing down just before the photo was taken.
