Windy!

I toured up Galena (Windy) Ridge and skied down the north aspect from the western peaklet.  The new snow near the highway was all blown off the crust. There was decent wind deposited snow on the first pitch off the top, but as I went lower it got very crusty and less and less new snow, even in the trees.  I then toured over to the bottom of Hourglass and up Tamarack.  The snow was much better in HG! (I had expected it to be all blown away.). 

The snow was clearly very slabby, but seemed well bonded to the crust below, as I didn't see any signs of significant instability.  Multiple lines down HG did not show any instabilities either.  
I skied out around noon, by which time anything with sun on it was getting very wet and concerning.
