Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions:

A skier in our group remotely triggered an avalanche in an ENE facing gully feature at approx 8800'. The crown was about 2' deep and ran for 400-500 feet, no one was caught in the slide. Lots of shooting cracks and whumphing. Dangerous avalanche conditions.
