Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions:

Went for a quick after-work tour on low-angle slopes in Sunrise Bowl. We could feel the weak faceted snow below the new snow with almost every pole plant. We also triggered several whumpfs during our tour. Near the top of the ridge, we kicked on a small wind-loaded test slope and caused it to crack within the new snow.
