Description of Snow, Weather, and Avalanche Conditions:

Snow depth measured at the top of a slope on a 30deg NE aspect. Whumpfing heard near this particular area, echoing up and down the slope but didn't sound like it propagated more than 10 or 15 ft. This happened to be near some large rocks. No other signs of instability observed. Very good skiing on angora, though that likely changed with the rain. Very bad approach and skiing between Wintoon and Angora Lakes due to the chaparral and low tide conditions. Rain became moderate on the return to Wintoon.
